The Right EV Charging Solution for Your Fleet
With the lowering costs of EVs and the growing savings that they can provide over time, more fleets are making the switch to electric vehicles. An EV charging solution from EvoCharge can provide reliability and control over how you charge your fleet with multiple connectivity options, including WiFi and 4G LTE. The benefits for installing EvoCharge include:
Save money when you connect your fleet’s EV charging stations to your local utility.
Our cable management options—EvoReel and the Cable Retractor—keep your charging area clean and safe, adhering to OSHA and ADA compliance.
Balance the electricity to each charger to up to 20 units with local load management (LLM) capabilities.
Improve uptime with a reliable Level 2 charging station.
Perks of an EV Charging Station for Your Fleet
Safety and Cleanliness
With EvoReel, you can keep cables clean and off the ground, eliminating tripping hazards and helping keep your space clean. EvoReel self-retracts, storing cables up and out of the way to ensure a safe, clean and efficient charging area. For those looking to keep cords off the floor, our Cable Retractor, with a spring-loaded tether, is another option that can help elevate your charging cable.
Balance Electrical Load
EvoCharge’s EV charging stations give you extra control over multiple units by providing local load management. Both the iEVSE and iEVSE Plus systems allow you to balance the charge between stations, up to 20 units at a time.
Save on Utilities
Save money when you connect your charging stations to your local utility. As a growing number of utility companies provide rebates and discounts, businesses can cash in by connecting their units, which is possible with both the iEVSE and iEVSE Plus systems.
Tax Incentives for Fleet Charging Stations
Your fleet’s EV charging station may be eligible for federal and/or state or provincial rebates and tax incentives, as well as local utility rebates and discounts. These incentives are location-based, so check out what’s available in your area.

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. Multiple electrical vehicle charging stations can be installed at the same location. Up to 20 units of the iEVSE and iEVSE Plus charging stations can be connected in a group and controlled together, including providing local load management.
When it comes to the power cord for the EV charging station itself, all of EvoCharge’s systems can be hardwired by a professional electrician. While the EVSE and iEVSE units come with plugs as well, the iEVSE Plus unit must be hardwired.
If you’re concerned about the cord that runs from the EVSE to the vehicle, we offer optional cord management systems, including our self-retracting EvoReel. EvoReel can be mounted to the wall or overhead, or to the pedestal.
The standard electric vehicle in North America uses the SAE J1772—also known as the J plug—to charge via the vehicle’s port. The J plug is compatible with all EVs and PHEVs except Tesla vehicles. For Teslas, an adaptor is included with the vehicle at purchase or can be purchased online.
The EVSE and iEVSE stations are installed by plugging them into a 240v outlet with NEMA 6-50 plug type or they can be hardwired directly, but the iEVSE Plus can only be hardwired. A certified electrician should handle the installation of an electrical source, like the 240v outlet, and for hardwire installation of charging systems.
EvoCharge EVSE and iEVSE units require 208-240VAC plug, Single Phase and a dedicated 40A supply circuit. The supply circuit can be adjusted for use with a 30A or 20A supply circuit. Both of these units can be purchased with the NEMA-6-50 plug or hardwired, but the iEVSE Plus must be hardwired. We recommend hiring an experienced electrician for installation.
